Phyllis Jean Wilson passed away Friday, March 14 on the evening of her 90th birthday at Heritage Health, Springfield.
She was born March 14th, 1924 to Clinton R. and Ruth M. Crump in Urbana, IL. The Crump family moved to Springfield in June of 1932. She married Donald R. Wilson in 1946.
Phyllis worked for the Chicago Motor Club along with her sister Louise in her early years. She then became a homemaker and excellent cook. Later in life, she worked for First National Bank in the Account Records division.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Suzanne Skeeters; brother, Milton Crump and sister, Louise Kraft.
Survivors: Terry K. Wilson (Terri) of California and Phillip B. Wilson (Wendy) of Springfield; grandchildren, Shelby, Donald, Janelle, Sara, Sheila, Sean, Christie, Melanie & Heather. Great grandchildren: Jason, Faith, Alyssa, Cidney, Trevor, Zachary, Taylor, Savannah, Maddie, Brycen & Jace; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday March 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield.
Memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
Family is being served by Mott & Henning Funeral Home, in Athens, IL.

Bless her kind soul…no one could ask for a more cherished aunt. When I think of one who loved her family and made every occasion extra-special, I think of my Aunt Phyllis! She was extraordinary and will be sorely missed.
