Willard Hall

Willard Hall, age 81, of Cantrall, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He survived by his children, Nancy Stauffer (Don); Bruce Hall (Diane), Patty Baker (Tom); seven grandchildren Angela Harrison, Joshua Bryant, Jeffery Bryant, Rebbecca Stauffer, Jeremiah Stauffer, Laura Marbold; several great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother, Melvin Hall and sister, Beverly Hall

He is preceded in death by his wife Peggy, both parents and one sister and one brother.

Willard was born on August 19, 1935 in Springfield, IL the son of Melvin and Maggie Loss-Henderson.

For 35 years of Willard’s life he was in the 183^rd Air Tactical National Guard where he later retired as Chief Master Sergeant.

Willard had a passion for woodworking and loved his flowers and trees.

Visitation for Willard will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 10-11 AM at the Athens Christian Church. Funeral service will immediately follow at 11 AM at the Athens Christian Church.

Burial will be held at Brittin Cemetery near Cantrall.

Rev. Ken Gennicks will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Athens Christian Church.
