Trisha Ratliff

Trisha Renee Ratliff, age 39, of Athens, IL died Friday, April 3, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She is survived by her daughter Mackenzie, her father David Ratliff of Athens, one brother Brian (Dawn) Ratliff of Athens; grandparents Charles (Catherine) Phelps; nieces Melissa Ratliff, Katlyn Ratliff, and Amber Monson; and one nephew, Brady Ratliff. As well as other loved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gail Ratliff, one brother, Timothy Ratliff and grandparents Garland and Louise Ratliff.

Trisha was born July 26, 1975 in Springfield, Illinois the daughter of David and Gail (Zellers) Ratliff.

She graduated from Illinois State University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree in child education.

She was a loving mother, devoted child care giver, loved the outdoors and enjoyed being a camping companion for her father and mother.

Visitation will be held at Mott & Henning Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 4-7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 10 am at Mott & Henning Funeral Home.

Burial will be held at Joel Hall Cemetery in Athens.

Memorials can be made to Trisha Ratliff Memorial Fund to be used for her daughter Mackenzie.
