Donald L. Trainor age 86, of Springfield passed away on Sunday November 2, 2008 at his residence.
He is survived by: Wife : Bettie
Daughters- Judy (Mike) Forgas of Manchester, Tennessee
Jeanne (Jeff) Miller of Springfield
Jill (Mike) Loeser of Springfield
Five Grandchildren – Michael, Andrea, Amanda, Libby & Kelsey Three Great-grandchildren – Kylee, Natalie & Alli Several Nieces & Nephews
Mr. Trainor was born August 7, 1922 near Springfield, the son of George and Flossie Reynolds Trainor. He was a member of Cantrall United Methodist Church since 1944. Mr. Trainor served in the U.S. Marines during World War II and he was an Ansar Shriner. He was also known as the “Biscuit, Pie & Jelly Man” at his church. Mr. Trainor retired from Fiat-Allis after 37 years of work. He loved all kinds of music, cooking and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 5, 2008 at Cantrall United Methodist Church from 10:00 AM until time of service there at 12:00 noon.

Burial will be held at Brittin Cemetery near Cantrall
Memorials contributions can be made to Cantrall United Methodist Church or Shriner’s Children Hospital
