Roger D. Tomlin, age 64, of Athens, IL died at Memorial Medical Center on February 12, 2006.

Survived by; Wife : Patricia of Athens Two Sons – Christian (wife Lisa) Tomlin of Athens Jason Tomlin of Athens One Daughter : Nicole (husband Joe) Antonacci of Athens

Mr. Tomlin was born July 18, 1942, in Athens, the son of Clarence and Alice Glasscock Tomlin.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Jr. and Fred Tomlin.

Mr. Tomlin graduated from Athens High School in 1962. He married Patricia Bozarth on October 12, 1968 at the Athens United Methodist Church.

Mr. Tomlin served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, earning several medals.He was a custodian for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 2005.

Private family services will be held.

Burial at Joel Hall Cemetery at a later date.

Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens is in charge of arrangements.
