   We will miss Sandy terribly and cherish her memory forever. She was beautiful, kind and always helpful. We support Terrie, Jim and Rachel in this terrible loss. Bless you, Sandy.

   We are so sorry to hear about Sandy. We always have enjoyed visiting with Sandy at the family reunions. Our thoughts and prayers are with all.

   A childhood friend just sent me Sandy’s obituary after finding it online. Sandy and I were good friends in junior high school, and I regret that we lost touch.

   In 7th grade, when I needed to go to the doctor to have stitches in my foot removed, I took Sandy with me since she had been through heart surgery. She teased me about being such a wimp because I insisted that she come into the examining room with me. The doctor removed the bandage — and Sandy passed out cold on the floor! As the story was retold countless times, no one laughed harder about it than Sandy.

   I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that there are people you’ve never even met who share your grief. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
