I was checking Mom’s obituary and noticed Jim’s. They worked together for Hulcher’s here in Virden. My sister and I remember Mom mentioning Jim and what a nice man he was. So we share the lost of two good people. Prayers from Betty Wallace’s daughters.

So sorry to hear of James’ passing. James’s son, Robert, has worked on many projects for us here at the School of Medicine. James raised a good son, and I’m sure an equally good family, brilliant, amazing work-ethic, and a really good person. My prayers go out to James and the entire Swanson family. Sincerely, John Runge

Jim started Hulcher’s not long after I began there. Many good memories of him during the years I worked there. Prayers and sympathies to you and your family.

Nancy: You and Jim were always so nice to me when I attended things at Cantrall and I thought you were the cutest couple. I am so very sorry for all the pain and sorrow you have been and are experiencing. I will continue to hold you up in my prayers.

I am so sorry we didn’t know of Jim’s death when it happened. My husband, Whitey Tilling, has shared many fond memories of his Aunt Freda, and cousins, Jimmy and Billy.
