Stetter, Gladys

Gladys Wojnarowski Stetter, formerly of Chicago, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Villa Healthcare East in Sherman, IL.

She was born May 26, 1913, in Trail, MN, the daughter of Lawrence and Josephine Wojnarowski. She married George Stetter in 1933. He preceded her in death in 1986. A daughter, Beverly Pacagninni, and a son, Floyd Stetter, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Stetter retired from Swedish Covenant Hospital, Chicago, in 1984, as an assistant to the personnel manager. She was a member of Athens Christian Church.

Survivors include a son, Weldon (Jane) of Cantrall; daughter-in-law, Chris Stetter of Pekin; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation rites were accorded. Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens in charge of arrangements. Private interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois at a later date.
