Missy, Joe and Jake our prayers and are thoughts are with your family. So many people you’ve never met prayed for Shelby and share in your grief. I hope you can find comfort in the fact you did everything possible and that God decided to take her home with him.

Missy, you know my heart breaks for you and your family. My relationship with your Shelby has mostly been through Facebook in the last few years. I know that she has the same sweet spirit as her mama. People are continuing to lift you and your family up in prayer and love. I will not ask “what do you need?” because I know how overwhelmed you are. I will reach out to you after you have time to take a deep breath.

Although we did not know Shelby on a personal level we could feel her kindness and her heart and your heart (her Momma, Missy) thru Facebook via Colleens online updates. We are sending our condolences, thoughts, prayers and love .🙏
We as a family suffered a traggic loss almost 7 years ago with the passing of my husband (the patriarch of the family) in an automobile accident. It is never ever easy to lose a loved one and it takes a very long time to find a new normal. Lean on your family, friend’s and community to get you through. Your granddaughter will help heal your heart as mine did as well.
Know that we The Johnston Family are praying for peaceful hearts and minds. Hugs from NH 💕

Shelby touched so many lives with her warm heart and her generosity.
Missy and Joe: No words can say how we feel nor nothing ever written could convey how deep our sorrow is for You. Shelby was funny, kind and most of all beautiful! Missy there couldn’t have been one more thing you could have done for her. Shelby had a beautiful life because of you two. We are praying for both of you.
We love you. We loved Shelby so much. We love Mahlee.
To Wanda and Butch:
I can’t imagine what you two are going thru. Know that our best wishes and prayers are meant for you. You couldn’t have given more love than you did to Shelby.
God Bless You All
Were so sorry for your loss.
Love Roger and Carolynn Eilts

Dearest Missy, I have followed your journey with Shelby from the very beginning on Facebook. You have gone through every parent worst nightmare and showed nothing but grace, courage, faith and love for Missy and God. I pray that all those fine qualities get you through the days ahead and are passed onto your granddaughter. RIP Shelby, you put up a brave fight. Continued prayers for you and your family.

My deepest condolences go out to Shelby’s family and friends. I have many fond memories of her coming to our house to play with Hailey when we were neighbors in Sherman. Though I had not seen her for a while it’s obvious that she grew up to be a beautiful and caring young woman. The death of someone so young and so loved is a tragedy for all involved. I know from experience that the death of a child is a heartbreak like no other. Please know that I am sending love and prayers your way.

Missy and Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Someone recently shared this quote with me. “If the people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them.” I know Shelby will live on through your love for her and her precious little girl. ❤️

Dear Missy, There are no words to express how anguished we feel to learn of your beloved daughter’s passing. May God comfort you and little Maelee and hold you in the palm of his hand. Shelby is in Paradise and may that blessed thought help you through the coming days.
