Shearlene Bartman

Shearlene Frakes Bartman 82 of Riverton Illinois passed peacefully at Sunny Acres Nursing Home on December 17, 2023.

She was born on September 27, 1941 in Springfield, the daughter of Howard and Edna Lynch Frakes.

Shearlene is survived by two sons, Richard Allen Gallas of Riverton and Richard Anthony Gallas (Crystal) of Riverton; three grandchildren, Bradley, Adelyn and Kelsey; three brothers, Harvey Frakes, Kevin Frakes and Eugene Frakes; four sisters, Wilma Brennan, Gloria Frakes, Evelyn Bond and Jeanne Fulton.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Howard and Irene Frakes; one daughter, Michelle Gallas; and one son, Tony Gallas.

Shearlene attended Elkhart school in Elkhart, Illinois. She did many years of Customer Service.

She mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren.

There will be no services at this time.

Cremation rites will be accorded.  Burial of cremains will be held at Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart, Illinois.

Memorials can be made to Memorial Hospice Care.
