Margaret T. Seiz, age 85, of Girard, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011 at Pleasant Hill Village in Girard.
She is survived by one son William R. (spouse, Alison) Seiz of Springfield; one daughter, Marilyn Miller of Springfield, IL; three grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Kayla Seiz, and Ryan Seiz; one great-grandchild, Jozef Miller; and one sister, Sarah Riley of Cape Coral, FL.
Margaret was born in Springfield, October 20, 1925 the daughter of Harold and Agnes Elliott Huckey. She is preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Gudgel, step-father, George Gudgel, and a sister, Catherine Paine.
Margaret retired from Fleetwood Restaurant as a waitress after working there for 31 years.
Loved to play Bingo and enjoyed time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Mott & Henning Funeral Home, where friends may call from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday. Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
Rev. David Upchurch officiating.
Burial will be held at Joel Hall Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to Athens Masonic Lodge.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Growing up in Springfield on 22nd street during the 50’s & 60’s, I have many fond memories of your family and running around with Bill. You have my deepest sympathies. – Brad Koehler
