Rose Thompson

Rose E. Thompson, age 75, of Athens passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at her home.

Rose was born on June 30, 1944 in Chandlerville, IL the daughter of Orville and Alice Brunk – Pherigo.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Thompson; one daughter, Christina L. Ferguson; one grandson, Cory R. Ferguson; three brothers, Ivan Logue, John Logue and James Pherigo and one sister, Shirley Dunlevy.

Rose is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Thompson and Barbara K. (David) Farley; four granddaughters, Amanda M. (Jacob) Drone, Ashley Bloome, Elizabeth and Olivia Ferguson; one grandson, Christian Bloome; four great – grandsons, Corey J. Drone, Patrick R. Drone and King Bloome and Ian Ferguson; four great – granddaughters, Isabelle R. Drone, Kaylynn Bloome, Journee Bloome and Prudence Ferguson; three sisters, Alice (John) Turner, Linda Kelly and Emma Jean Schappaugh.

Rose loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great – grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Burial will be held at a later date.
