Rodger was my baby brother, he was also the only brother left. Now he is gone. He was the Godfather to my daughter Jackie Ann Conklin. There were 8 of us, now it is only me. Of course Bobbi was his wife they were married here at our home on April 30th 2005 (which was his brother Jerry’s birthday) so how could I ever forget either date.. I am so thankful I called and talked to him the week he died. I got to tell him how much i love and missed seeing him. He told me how much he loved me too. What a great brother. I will miss you Rodger. You will now get to see everyone but me, but you can look down on me and talk to me anytime and I will listen.. No more pain for you my brother.. I will always love you Rodger..

Bobbie and family, I am so sorry to hear of Rodger’s passing. When he worked at Apollo Mart and Village Market I enjoyed him so much. I never knew what he was going to say to me. He was always fun and cheerful. I have missed him in recent years. My thoughts and prayers with you all.
