Patricia Ridge age 73, of Springfield passed away on January 29, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center.

She is survived by: One son : Mark Redpath of Springfield
Two Daughters : Patty Redpath of Springfield
Anne Redpath of Springfield
One Stepson : Mark Ridge of Oceanside, CA
One Stepdaughter : Cary Feld of Carlsbad, CA.
Eight Grandchildren
One Brother : Jack Matthew of Springfield
One Sister : Jane M. Brooks of Springfield

Mrs. Ridge was born December 8, 1935 in Modesto, IL, the daughter of Charles E. and Irene M. Plummer Matthew. She is preceded in death by her parents, her step-son Reed, and her husband John R. Ridge on July 13, 1987.
Mrs. Ridge was a member of the Glenarm United Methodist Church in Glenarm. She retired from the Illinois Coal Association in 1991, after 28 years of service.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Monday, February 2, at Mott & Henning Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.

Rev. Gloria Davis will officiate.

Burial will be at Fancy Creek Cemetery near Sherman.

In lieu of flowers Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children , SPARC, or Animal Protective League.
