Louise Ratliff, age 91, of Petersburg, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Petersburg.
She is survived by five sons, Jim (Linda) of Cantrall, Patrick (Diana Grobosky) of Kincaid, David (Gail) of Cantrall, Paul (Arlene) of Athens, and Kenneth of Greenview; five daughters, Nancy Ferrell of Anchor, Eileen (Bruce) Bielfeldt of Anchor, Beth Ann (Mark) Seipel of Macomb, Pam Bauser of Petersburg, and Cindy (Mark) Todd of Oakford; 26 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Art Wiseman and David Wiseman; one sister, Frances LaGesse; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, James Garland and son, John; a brother, Walter; and a sister, Geneva Myers.
She was born on July 25, 1922 in Petersburg, Illinois, the daughter of Walter and Clara Tibbs Wiseman.
Visitation will be held at 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens.
Monsignor Richard Pricco will be officiating.
Burial will be held at Joel Hall Cemetery in Athens.
Memorials can be made to American Heart Association or Sunny Acres Nursing Home.
Family is being served by Mott & Henning Funeral Home, in Athens, IL.
