Earl went to his heavenly home on August 7, 2024 surrounded by his wife of 71 years and their 4 children in his home in Williamsville.

 Earl was born on March 21, 1932 in Rural Williamsville, the youngest of 8 children of Halbert and Bessie Fraze Fowler.

 He is survived by his wife, Delores (nee Oschwald); son Brian Fowler; daughters Angie Peifer, Pam (Mark) Jerome and Rebekah Fowler; sister Betty Fowler; grandchildren Emily (Mark) Schroeder, Emma (Chris) Nation, Mathew and Lily Fowler; and great grandsons Edmund and Ben Schroeder. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jack, Gene, Bill and Don; sisters Ruaelma Johnstone and Mary Fowler; son-in-law Jim Peifer; and grandson Beau Robbins.

 Earl graduated from Williamsville High School. He was a farmer, grain elevator manager, and retired from Sutton Siding and Remodeling. He enjoyed hunting, and in his retirement years raised German Shorthair dogs and game fowl. 

 He was a founding member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sherman and served as elder and chairman of various boards in the church. He served for 12 years on the Board of Education of Williamsville School District.

 Earl was witty, always ready to spin a yarn, and had a constant twinkle in those pale blue eyes. He was also gentle, patient, kind and loving. Jesus, family, and home were always his top priorities in life.

 Services will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Sherman, Illinois at 11:00 on Saturday, August 10. Visitation will be held from 8:30 until time of service.
