Louise Nichols, age 89, of Lincoln, formerly of Athens died June 6, 2008 at St. Clara’s Manor.
Surviving by:Two daughters – Barbara Peddicord of Lincoln
Karen ( Ron) Weidhuner of Athens Son : Harry E. “Butch” (Wanda) Nichols of Athens
Five Grandchildren : Tami, Diane, Tara, Missy & Mike Nine Great grandchildren
Several Nieces & Nephews
Mrs. Nichols was born September 9, 1918 in Athens the daughter of Herbert and Ida Naylor Pierceall.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry in 1970 and a granddaughter Stephanie.
Mrs. Nichols was the last surviving child of ten siblings. She had lived in Athens for 84 years.
She was employed by Athens School District, Cantrall’s Grocery Store and retired from the State of Illinois.
Mrs. Nichols was a member of the Athens Christian Church, attended the Daily Bread in Athens and loved playing cards, bingo, quilting and going out to eat.
Visitation will be held on Monday June 9, 2008 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and where funeral services will be held Tuesday June 10, 2008 at 11:00 A.M.
Rev. Ken Gennicks officiating.
Burial at Joel Hall Cemetery in Athens.
