Mary Margaret Becker, age 91, of Greenview, passed away on Monday April 22, 2013 at her home.
She is survived by her husband Lowell Becker, one son Mark (Kathy) Becker, two daughters Tamara (Bill) Russell and Julianne (Gary) Manuel; six grandchildren Scott Becker, Amy (Aaron) Janssen, Clay Becker, Bryan (Amanda) Russell, Kevin Russell, Laura (Andrew) Campbell; four step grandchildren Chris (Jeff) Lopian, Aaron (Chantel) Thompson, Jamie Manuel, Justin (Katie) Manuel; seven great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister : in : law Lois Johnson and one niece Carol Shivers.
She is preceded in death by her parents Olaf and Sara (Sadie) Johnson, one brother Charles Edward Johnson and one nephew David Johnson.
Mary Margaret was born January 22, 1922 in Greenview, the daughter of Olaf and Sara (Sadie) Stone Johnson.
She graduated from Greenview High School and then married Lowell Becker on August 22, 1948.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and playing the piano, but most of all, serving her Savior.
Mary Margaret was a member of Greenview Christian Church where she actively served in many capacities.
Visitation will be held at Mott & Henning Funeral Home from 5 : 7 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Also one hour prior to services at the church.
Funeral Services will be held at the Greenview Christian Church 10 AM on Friday, April 26, 2013.
Blake Canterbury will be officiating.
Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview.
Memorials can be made to Greenview Christian Church.

Julianne, my thoughts & prayers are with you & your family as you enter this new chapter of your life. Your mom was blessed to have a wonderful caring daughter & is now at peace in Heaven. Remember all your wonderful happy memories of good times together–they are priceless!

Lowell, Mark, Tammy, Julianne and all of your families. Mary Margaret was definitely one of God’s masterpieces. We both have fond memories of her kindness and joyful nature during our youth and also our adult lives. Bless you and your families. She will be greatly missed by our commmunity.

Julianne, thinking of you and your family. Losing a parent is never easy. Your mom was a wonderful lady, im sure she would want you to remember all the wonderful times you shared. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Lowell & Julianne, we will be praying for you and wishing that we could be with you today. Mary Margaret was a treasure and always such a joy to be around. I know that she is smiling and enjoying the company of our Lord. Hang on to the memories – they will see you through anything.
