How Mary Ann will be missed at Good Shepherd. She had so much love to give. She was so faithful with her card ministry., remembering each members birthday and anniversary and sending get well cards. I will treasure the birthday card she must have mailed before going to the hospital.
She was so proud of her “princesses” and loved her time with them.
May God comfort you, Danny, And all of your family.

Mary Ann was a blessing. I loved her smile and her warm greetings and her enthusiasm. In my Facebook memories today there was a picture of her helping her granddaughters decorate the Chrismon tree in the church sanctuary a few years ago. She had a huge smile on her face… So Mary Ann, May God bless and comfort your entire family.

My heart is very heavy right now. Mary Ann and Danny were out best friends when my husband Frank was alive. We had so many good times. I’m comforted to know she was a child of God. She lived her testimony. Family was her priority and I know she is in a better place! My condolences to the Barnes family in their time of need. I will see you again my friend!

We will always cherish the baptismal banners you made for our granddaughters. I always enjoyed your cards and many chats with us at church. You were always so good to ask about our grandchildren and sons. And always made sure to get cards to Jared in the military! I loved saving cards for you! And we always offered to help you with postage to which you said “it is our gift.” I will miss talking with you about Morrisonville and the special bond we shared when both of our sons served their countries. Danny our hearts are with you and the entire family. She was an angel in every way. I loved your granddaughter posts. Oh how you loved them. We will both miss her smiling at us in church and her kindness. Miss you already Mary Ann. Til we meet again !!!!

Danny and family,
I know that you all are really hurting right now with the loss of your wife, mom, and sister. I truly am sorry that Mrs. Mary is gone, that is what I called her at work. She was always so sweet to me and always gave me the best advice. At one time I’d just miscarried my daughter and I was so brokenhearted she prayed with me, and comforted me. She told me that my baby was with God and truly was a gift and that in due time I would have another child. She was right, I had two more! I will miss her smile, it truly glowed and made my day, I often would take my break and make my rounds around the building just so I could run into Mrs. Mary. She is a gift to everyone who ever crossed her path and will truly be missed. I pray a blessing for you all in this time of mourning that you continue to feel her love and the grace and love of our heavenly father and his son Jesus Christ, she’s with him now , A most deserving and beautiful soul has gone heaven, even though we are sad for her leaving I hope that knowing that will also bring you comfort one day..
You are in my thoughts and prayers,
Tomicia Ellis

We are devastated to hear this news about Mary Ann’s passing. She was a great family friend, and someone we always enjoyed speaking with. Our favorite memory of Mary Ann was when she knitted and gave a yellow blanket to our youngest daughter after her birth. She carried that blanket with her throughout her toddler years, and it was her best friend.
Mary Ann will always have a place in our hearts.
With love & deepest condolences,
Donnie and Beth Edwards (Alex, Abbey, and Allie)

Danny & Family, so saddened to hear of Mary Ann’s passing but so consoling knowing Mary Ann is in the arms of her Lord and Savior. As cousins, there were good, fun times together growing up and are now memories to cherish. “The Lord is close to the broken-hearted.” Psalm 34:18.
