Martha “Marty” Gillmore, age 79, of Petersburg, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born August 28, 1941 the daughter of Earl and Alice Fillbright.
Marty married James “Pete” Gillmore in 1960.
Mourning her passing are her son, Gary Wayne (wife Barbara) Gillmore of Mason City; three grandsons, Bradley Wayne, Gage Arlan and Tyler Lee Gillmore; one great-grandson, Mason Wayne Gillmore; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband James “Pete” Gillmore on May 16, 2006.
She worked as a Bank Teller at First National Bank and later National Bank in Petersburg.
At the request of Marty Gillmore, private family graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Petersburg.

So sorry to hear of your loss of Marty our love to all of you. Gary she was so proud of you and your family. May all your golden memories bring you comfort. May Pete and Marty together again rest in peace. .

I attended high school with Marty and Pete and enjoyed seeing them at our class reunions. It was a pleasure to know them. Marty was delightful and will be missed. My sympathy to your family
