Margaret DeLong Lindstrom, age 78, of Scottsdale, AZ. formerly Sherman, IL. died Saturday May 12, 2007 at Scottsdale Hospital.

Mrs. Lindstrom was born April 8, 1929 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Ida and William Oschwald. She married Harold DeLong on July 16, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1992. She married Carl (Lindy) Lindstrom on Sept. 3, 1994. He resides in Scottsdale, AZ. She is preceded also in death by one sister Mary Tarr.
After working several years at Sangamo Electric, Mrs. Lindstrom and her husband Harold owned and operated DeLong Disposal for over thirty years. She spent many years caring for foster children in her home. She cared for children of all ages from infants to teenagers.
She was one of the founding members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sherman where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00P.M. on Sunday, May 20 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sherman and where funeral services will be at On May 21 at 10:00 A.M. Rev. James Steunkel officiating. Burial at Fancy Creek Cemetery near Sherman
