Derringer, Linda

Linda Derringer, age 64, of Springfield passed away of pancreatic cancer on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Springfield, IL on March 6, 1949 to Paul J. Noga, Sr. and Minnie Zappia Noga who preceded her in death. She married the love of her life and best friend Ed Derringer on December 27, 1969. He survives. They were blessed with two sons; Bob, wife Traci, of Springfield, IL and Joe, wife Tammy of Athens, IL who blessed her with three beautiful grandchildren Madison, Ethan & Jaci. She is also survived by two brothers, Paul, wife Pam of Cantrall, IL and Michael partner Neil of Springfield, IL. Sisters in law Zada Hambelton of Sweetwater, IL and Joyce Holstein, husband Ron, of Edinburg, IL. Nephew Joe Noga, wife Emily of Springfield, IL and many more nieces, nephews, cousins and in laws. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 1 : 2 PM at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens, IL with funeral services following. Doug Wendler will be officiating. Burial will be held at Sugar Grove Cemetery near Sweetwater. Memorials can be made to Lustgarten Center for Pancreatic Research.
