Kevin James Trimpe, age 53, of Athens, IL, passed away on Saturday October 4, 2014.
He is survived by his wife Cindy, children Jared (Jennifer) Trimpe, Ryan Trimpe, Curtis Trimpe, Hillary (Andrew) Campbell; grandchildren Kolton Trimpe, Jacob Trimpe, Noah Zeke Campbell; six brothers Ronald (Ruthie) Trimpe, Kenneth (Tina) Trimpe, Donald (Heather) Trimpe, Steve (Vickie) Trimpe, and Ronald James Trimpe; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents James and Mary (Jacoby) Trimpe, and his father-in-law Carl Templeman, and his maternal and paternal grand parents.
He was born October 16, 1960, in Havana, IL.
He married Cindy on February 14, 1987 in Pekin, IL.
Kevin enjoyed watching his family grow, especially his grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 : 8 PM on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Mott and Henning Funeral Home in Athens, IL.
Funeral services will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sherman at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 8, 2014.
Rev. Michael Shuerman will be officiating.
Burial will be held at Joel Hall Cemetery.

Cindy, boys and Hillary, I am so sorry your heart hurts! Levin was a wonderful man! He help me so much when Bob died.

I was so sorry to hear about Kevin. He was a great guy and a good friend from high school. I have many good memories. He will be missed.
