William “Bill” C. Kail, age 71, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Kail of Springfield; two brothers, James (wife Lola) Kail of Taylorville, and Mark (wife Ruby) Kail of San Antonio, TX; five sisters, Carol Douglas, Janet (husband James) Boone, Joan (husband Bruce) Aho, Helen Jean Ballard, and Joy (husband Martin) Connley, all of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Kail was born September 2, 1939 in Springfield, Illinois the son of William and Loretta Bottoms Kail. He worked as a mechanic at Fiat Allis for several years prior to his retirement.
He married Connie Shearon on March 8, 1961 at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Springfield.
Remains to Mott & Henning Funeral Home, where friends may call from 9:30 until time of service there at 10:30 AM on Wednesday.

Dear Connie and family.
Please accept my deepest condolences on the news of Bill’s passing. Connie, my prayers and sympathies go out to you and all the other family members. I am so sorry to hear of Billy’s bad health and all the pain he has gone through. I wish him much peace now and the best of good luck to you, Connie.
