Judith “Judy” Novella (Maring) Reed, age 68, of Mason City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 23, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Judy was born on November 26, 1950 in Danville, IL the daughter of Imogene and Clarence Maring.

Judy loved spending time with family and friends. She attended church at Living Faith Baptist Church in Sherman every Sunday that she was able, even after she lost most of her vision and hearing. She enjoyed worshiping with her brothers and sisters in Christ. Judy enjoyed life as a farmer’s wife, Aide at Memorial Medical Center, and a cook at Mason City Area Nursing Home – where she became a Dietary Manager and retired after 25 years of service. Judy loved to cook, garden and most recently camping with the family. Most of all Judy loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
