Our sympathy to Walter and Joyce’s family. Joyce was the first person I met after moving to Athens in 1977. I was in the yard one day when Joyce and the boys came by on their way to the old ball diamond for a game. Joyce was a friendly and nice person and would stop and visit if I was home when they came by.

Our sympathy to Walter, Charles, Joe and Joyce’s family. We were neighbors in Athens and enjoyed visiting with Walter and Joyce. They were missed when moving to Springfield and will be remembered by many. Joyce cared about people and was good to check how you were and give your day a ray of sunshine. She loved my children especially Kurt. May your golden memories bring you comfort. The Plopper-Messersmith Family.
