I have known Joyce since I came to work at St. John’s Hospital in 1973. I have always admired her work ethic, and how caring she was to her patients. When she came to the Motherhouse to work, we always joked about doing things “The St. John’s Way”. I will miss her contagious laugh and sparkle in her eye. You all have my deepest sympathy on your loss.

The St.John’s Hospital Retirees’ group wishes to express our heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Joyce Bell. She was a valuable, hard-working member of our group especially helping with the setup/teardown at our quarterly membership meetings. She will be greatly missed.

Joyce was so much a part of my life for a long time. I haven’t seen her for awhile, but she was in my thoughts, as your whole family is. Sorry I could not be there for the memorial. Please know that the whole family is in my thoughts and prayers. I am glad she is at peace.
