Jones, Pauline E.

Pauline E. Jones age 80, of Fernandina Beach, FL died Friday, March 28, 2008.

She was born June 19, 1927 to Glenn and Daisy Saffer of Fancy Prairie, IL. She graduated from Elkhart high school; Brown’s Business College of Springfield and was employed by Alvin S. Keys Ins. Co. before her marriage to Marion (Bud) Jones of Athens, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one brother, William.

Surviving are two sons, Gregory of Muscatine, Iowa, and Dale of Melrose, FL; two daughters, Mary Beth Spencer of Haymarket, VA. and Phyllis Rouse of Fernandina Beach, FL. She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one brother, Jim.

Pauline was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Fernandina Beach, FL and was active with the 1st Presbyterian Women and volunteered with Barnabas Center.

Graveside Services is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Walnut Hill Cemetery, near Williamsville, IL. at 11:00 A.M.Rev. Vaughn Beeman, retired minister of West Side Christian Church officiating.
