Kathryn Lucille Hoke, age 83, of Petersburg, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012 at her daughter’s home. .

Lucille is survived by one daughter, Nancy Wall; two sons, Steve (wife Penny) Hoke, Greg (wife Sharon) Hoke all of Petersburg; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Beverly Beck of Troy, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles, her parents, two brothers, a granddaughter, and a granddaughter-in-law.

She was born February 11, 1929 in Tallula, Illinois.

Lucille married Charles Hoke on September 25, 1948 at St. Paul’s Church in Petersburg.

She is a member of the Petersburg United Methodist Church.

Lucille worked at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Petersburg, where she helped numerous people.

Graduated from Harris High School and Licensed Practical Nursing Program in Springfield.

Her kids and grandkids were her life-long hobby.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 4:00 until 7:00PM at Mott & Henning Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Petersburg. .

Rev. John Vidakovich will be officiating.

Burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery near Petersburg.

Memorials can be made to the Athens United Methodist Church, the Petersburg United Methodist Church, or to the Memorial Medical Foundation.
