Josh G. Hoffman, age 16, of Cantrall passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2007.
Survived by: Parents : Jeff & Tressa Hoffman Brother – Riley Hoffman
Grandparents – Sally (husband James) Lemons of Pittsfield
– Gene Turnbaugh of Pittsfield – Jean (husband Ron) Vaughn of Macomb – Leroy (wife Janet) Hoffman of Carthage Great-Grandmother – Henrietta Jeffers
Several Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins
Josh was born January 8, 1991 in Springfield, Illinois the son of Jeff and Tressa Turnbaugh Hoffman.
He was a student at Athens High School.
He was very involved in school activities, such as, soccer, basketball, baseball, and biology club. He played competitive soccer with SASA and enjoyed scuba-diving.
Josh was also involved with the Boy Scouts of American, being a Order of The Arrow member and also earning the rank of Eagle Scout. He dearly loved all his friends.
Josh worked at the state fair this past month with the Department of Agriculture and worked at the A&W restaurant at Air Jiffy in Springfield.
Josh was a member of the Cantrall United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held at Mott & Henning Funeral Home where friends may call from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at Athens Christian Church on Thursday at 10:00 AM.

Dear Jeff and Tressa, I came to Josh’s visitation but I also wanted to send a condolence. I’m glad you remembered me from Dirksen,Tressa. We were all so shocked out there when we heard for most of us remembered you and Josh, and you bringing both him and his brother to work when they were young. Josh did have an active and full Life and I am sorry for your loss. Your in our thoughts and prayers.
