Michael L. Henne, age 37, of Springfield passed away on January 17, 2009 at his home.

He is survived by: Father : Leonard Henne of Mattoon

Mother : Gay Henne of Caseville, MI Two Sisters- Machelle of Caseville, MI Melissa of Salisbury, NC

Michael was a member of the Athens Christian Church. He was a huge sports fanatic and enjoyed hunting.

Visitation will be held at the Athens Christian Church on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with services following at 6.

Burial: New Bayport Cemetery in Michigan

I lived with Mike in Reno for about a year back in 1993. We enjoyed tossing the football around, playing basketball, watching all sports. He was a Lions fan and I was a Viking fan. We flew to Minnesota and saw the Vikings play the Lions. We had a lot of fun. He was a great guy. He will be missed.
