Juanita L. Henderson, age 91, of Williamsville passed away on April 5, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She is survived by three sons, Jeffery L. (Renee) Henderson of Eureka, IL, Terry W. (Sharon) Henderson of Haughton, LA, and S. Bart (fiancé Carolyn) Henderson of Williamsville; one daughter, Bonita (Phillip) George of Santa Fe, NM; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and several cousins.

Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; a son, C. Bret; a grandson, Robert; and her parents.

She was born June 12, 1922 in Springfield, Illinois the daughter of Abe and Blanche (Luckhart) Fulcher.

She married Wayne Henderson on July 11, 1943 in Williamsville at the Williamsville Christian Church.

Mrs. Henderson attended the American Hill School and then later graduated from Williamsville High School.

She was a founding member of the Williamsville Community Foundation. She was an active member in the Historical Society and Boxcar Museum in Williamsville.

She was a long-time member of the Williamsville United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Henderson enjoyed many years of being a farmer’s wife and helping on the farm.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Williamsville United Methodist Church.

Rev. Dick Piscatelli officiating.

Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery near Williamsville.

Memorials can be made to the Williamsville United Methodist Church.
