Condolences

  1. My heart and prayers go out to you all at this most difficult time. The friendships from our families will always be remembered. She will always be remembered as a sweet and loving person.

  2. To my friends and family: Your Mother, Evelyn Haggard was a wonderful lady. I know you will miss her very much. She is now in Heaven with Sam and Robbie, holding them and so happy to see them again. Everytime I saw her and your Dad somewhere, they would give me a big hug and ask how me and my family were doing, and I knew they truely wanted to know. Our two families have been together, well forever. Who would have guessed that thru Mike and Ruth’s daughter Stephanie and mine and Rob’s son Shawn, that we would truely be families together. I have fond memeries of growing up with Mike and David (yes David I still want to be your friend). And Sam – oh how him and Rob (well you know about those two). Marianne, I hope we can get together soon and renew our friendship, really get to talk and share. I just want you to all know you are in my heart and prayers, and I loved your Mom very much. I know you will take good care of your Dad. Love Joanne Downs Wheatley (Jody)

  3. I was sad to hear of Evelyn’s passing. My sincerest sympathies go out to John and the children. I remember Evelyn as a sweet and kind lady who always had time to stop and visit with everyone. We Orme children spent many summer days at the Haggard home playing in animal troughs filled with water, weaving pieces of newspaper to make mats to lie on and, in general, just having a great time playing with the children. Evelyn, John and the Haggard children forged wonderful memories for me of my childhood and I am forever thankful to them. Rest in Peace, Evelyn.

  4. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you mourn Evelyn’s passing. I have many fond memories of your family as a kid growing up.

  5. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know you are in my prayers.

  6. I meant Evelyn in the late 50s. She was the sweetest, kindness, soft spoken person I have ever known. Sorry for the family’s loss. She will truly be missed by many. Fondly Connie

  7. Dear John and family Our families have drifted apart thru the years and consequently have lost touch. I am so sorry to hear of Evelyn’s passing. I will always re-member that sweet smile. May fond memories stay with you and soften your loss.

  8. My sympathy to Evelyn’s family, Rosemarie, Dean, Ruth and Thomas. I enjoyed spending time with the DeWitt family when I was younger. May your memories bring you comfort.

  9. John and family, You probably won’t remember me but I worked with Evelyn many years ago at SJH. She was a lovely lady and a very hard worker. She was so very proud of her family. I can recall many evenings on 3-11 when she would talk of John….and always smiled. I am leaving later today to go to Arizona so I will be unable to attend services but know that I will keep all of you in prayer. I will miss Evelyn but will treasure the times we were able to share. Sincerely, Bobbie

  10. Marianne and Family: I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I still remember going out to the house in the country when we were in school and always felt welcome. She will be sadly missed by all. You have my sympathy and prayers. Remember, there will be no pain in heaven. Love to all, Marie (Darling) Bartels
