Gary Renfro, age 77, of Greenview, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at St. Clara’s Manor in Lincoln, Illinois.
He was born on March 15, 1944 in Middletown, IL, the son of James Edgar and Arvena (Ellegood) Renfro.
Gary married Barbara Gaddie on January 8, 1972.
Mourning his passing is his wife, Barbara; and their children, Don and Sheila Davison, Deana and Mike Ryan, Eddie and Sharon Davison, Reese Renfro and Scott Biggs, Dawn Renfro and Mike Ellis, Lucinda and John Wyatt, and Melanie Renfro; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, John Renfro, Frank Renfro, and David Renfro; one sister, Kay Ware; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his sisters, Janet Castleman and Judy Poggi; and twin brother, Terry Renfro.
He was a member of the Greenview Christian Church.
Gary was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
A time to remember Gary will be starting at 1:30 PM on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Greenview Christian Church.

Uncle Gary was intelligent, witty and an all around super nice guy. I miss the T & G stories he and my Dad would tell. Rest In Peace and happy that you are having a Renfro family reunion in Heaven. God loves you and so do I.

We are sorry to see this. We ran around with him and his brother Terry when we were younger. Butch also worked with him at Cat. Fond memories of him and Terry. Butch and Betty Smith
