Frances Vaughn Gaydosik, 84, widow of CSM Edward Gaydosik, and daughter of Marie Crumpler Vaughn McFadyen and George Ruffin Vaughn, passed away on July 17 in Petersburg, IL. The cause of death was congestive heart failure.
Frances was born on August 2, 1936, in Dunn, NC, and grew up and lived most of her adult life in Fayetteville, NC. She worked as a homemaker, a Realtor, and a rural mail carrier. She is survived by her children, Frances Victoria Gaydosik of Weatherford, OK, Kathy Harris of Ocala, FL, Edward Vaughn Gaydosik of Durham, NC, Cynthia Jo Gaydosik of Marshfield, MO, Samantha Marie Nunnery of Petersburg, IL, and Joseph Charles Gaydosik of Atlanta, GA. Twin sons predeceased her, CWO Richard Ruffin Lee and George Lawrence Lee.
She donated her body to science through the Illinois Anatomical Gift Association via Mott and Henning of Athens, IL.
