Frances J. Wilson, age 88, of Shelbyville, TX, formerly of Springfield, passed away on July 23, 2017 at her residence.
She was born August 30, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Max and Florence Vincent Zellers.
She is survived by children, Linda (Joe) Smith, Brandon Wilson, Sandy (Brent) Schmidt, Vicki (Terry) Treat, Barb Graham, and Cindy (Scott) Huber; 17 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Victor H. Wilson; two daughters, Connie Miller and Joyce Honigman; one son, Robert Wilson; two grandsons, Aubrey Williams and Joseph Honigman; one brother, Steve Zellers; and her parents.
Frances married Robert Collins on September 20, 1945; she later married Victor Wilson on March 15, 1968.
She worked for numerous factories, including Meyers Bros., Wareco Oil in Havana, Bunn-O-Matic, Sangamo Electric, and Hobbs.
She attended Petersburg Harris High School.
Frances was known as “Peanuts” while she was a member of the 23CB Club. She was a member of the CRV Bowling League in Springfield.
Visitation will be held at Mott & Henning Funeral Home, where friends may call from
11:00 AM until time of funeral service there at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.
Burial will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield.
Memorials can be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association or the American Cancer Society.

Aunt Fran was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be missed by many. Linda and family are in my prayers
