Edna Irene Frakes, age 95, formerly of Williamsville went to be with her Lord on July 4, 2007 in Springfield.

She was born May 8, 1912 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of John and Dora Lynch.

She married Howard W. Frakes in 1937.He preceded her in death in 1962. A grandchild, Michelle Gallas, also preceded in death.

Mrs. Frakes was a member of the First Baptist Church of Springfield, past member of the Welcome Class and a Lincoln Christian Nursing Home Volunteer. Edna Irene was a homemaker. Her hobbies included sewing and quilt making.

Visitation will be held at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens from 9:00 until time of funeral services at 10:00 on Friday July 6, 2007.

Officiating: Dustin Fulton Burial will be at Elkhart Cemetery. Memorial to First Baptist Church of Springfield.
