Rosemary Evers, age 83, of Williamsville, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2010 in Harlingen, TX. She is survived by two sons, Richard and James Evers; grandchildren, Adam (Kristina) Evers of Springfield and April Evers Gentry of Savannah, GA. and several nieces and nephews. Rosemary was born June 6, 1927 in Williamsville, the daughter of James and Alice Long Wise. She married Paul Evers in 1949 in Normal, IL. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Evers in 2000 and a brother, James Wise in 2004. Rosemary graduated from Illinois State Normal University in 1948. She taught for the Williamsville school district for many years. Rosemary was an avid quilter and a member of Q.U.I.L.T.S. Springfield Area Quilters Guild and the Rio Grande Valley Quilt Guild. She was a member of the Elkhart Christian Church. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Monday, November 1, 2010 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Elkhart Christian Church. Rev. Bob Twist will be officiating. Burial will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Dear Richard and James,
It has been a long time since I have seen Rosemary but she was always friendly and fun to be around.
You have my condolences at your loss. It is sad to give up our parents even if it is timely.
