Sorry to hear about Aunt Elaine. We will miss her bright smile and always happy demeanor.
One of my favorite Aunts, I’ll always remember when I was about 8 or 9 I got to have lunch with her family. I was always a picky eater and was more than a bit nervous about what I would do if the food “didn’t suit”. Aunt Elaine put me at instant and complete ease when she said, “If you don’t like it, you don’t have to put it on your plate.” I’m fairly certain that was the first time I had ever heard that offer. Elaine was my “best pal” from then on.
She was always a gracious host and she and “Chap” raised two wonderful children.
She will be missed. Godspeed Aunt Elaine.
Love,
Bob and Nancy
