Edward “Corky” Crenshaw

Edward “Corky” Crenshaw, Jr., age 64, of Petersburg, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at his residence.

He was born October 16, 1957 the son of Edward Sr. and Georgia Crenshaw.

Mourning his passing are family members, Melissa Whitcomb, Lisa Atteberry, Robert Crenshaw, Jr., Lori Crenshaw, Justin Whitcomb, Chelsea Stengel, Tara Dennis, and Kayla Whitcomb; and brother, Mark Crenshaw.

Corky is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Amber Monique; two sisters, Linda Crenshaw and Sharon Crenshaw; cousins, Jewell and Jackie Crenshaw; and good friends, Raymond and George Hamilton.

He loved fishing, camping, and drinking beer.  Corky loved to travel and spend time with family. His favorite quote was “Don’t worry, be happy”.

He served for the U.S. Navy from 1972 until 1974.

Cremation rites will be accorded.
