Joyce D. Duncan, age 76, of Sweetwater, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Symphony of Lincoln in Lincoln, IL.
She is survived by three sons, Dennis Duncan of Springfield, Randy Duncan of Springfield, and Craig Duncan of San Diego, CA; one daughter, Kristy (husband Donald) Nation of Springfield; three grandchildren, Zach Duncan, Jessup Duncan, and Duncan Nation; one great-grandchild, Gavin Duncan; and several cousins, loved family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia “Jenny” Noe; and a brother, Homer E. “Possum” Clemens.
Joyce was born, December 6, 1938 in Sweetwater, Illinois, the daughter of Homer and Bertha Wright Clemens
She was a loving mother and great cook. Joyce had a fondness for Clint Eastwood and Elvis Presley. She collected antiques and knick-knacks.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 6, 2015 from 10:00 until time of funeral services at 11:00 AM at Mott & Henning Funeral Home, in Athens, IL.
Burial will be held at Sugar Grove Cemetery near Sweetwater.
Rev. Roger James will be officiating.
