In the middle 1960s, Doris was working as a hairdresser in Springfield when I met her. I had not lived in
Springfield long (in my 20s), and Doris was particularly nice to me. After awhile, Doris decided she needed to be home more and would be working less and out of her home in Williamsville. She invited me to come to her house for my appointments, which I did. Eventually, Doris decided to stop hair entirely so she could have more time available for Chuck and Bud. I have always remembered how nice Doris was to me and how much I enjoyed her company. My thoughts and prayers are with her family today.
