Lucy was born June 21, 1925 in Chatham, the daughter of James I. and Mary (Wright) Clark.

On June 24, 1941 she married her best friend, Leonard Dennison. They worshiped each other for 72 years and 9 months.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; by a son, James; a grandson, Jimmie; brother, George Clark; and sisters, Rose Stefancic and Margret Fraze.

She is survived by a son, Tom (Karen) Dennison; a daughter, Linda (Ed) Bileck of Springfield; eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren; thirteen great-grand children, 3 step-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She retired from K-mart after 20 years.

Her biggest passion was watching the Chicago Cubs.

She was a member of the Williamsville United Methodist Church for over 40 years and loved going to church while she was able.

Memorials can be made to the Williamsville Fire Department and Rescue Squad or Williamsville Methodist Church.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Sunday October 26, 2014 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday October 27, 2014 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home.

Rev. Dick Piscatelli will be officiating.

Burial will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery near Williamsville.

Family is being served by Mott & Henning Funeral Home, in Athens, IL.
