Harlan, Delmar

Delmar Harlan, age 77, of Cantrall, passed away on Thursday June 27, 2013 at his home. He is survived by two sons; Delmar (Judi), Jack (Judi) both of Athens; three daughters, Peggy Ryan of Cantrall, Cindy (Ray) Gimondo of Petersburg, Bonnie (Karl) Yager of Athens; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret in 2008, a son Dale and a grandson Delmar III.

Delmar was born November 3, 1935, in Berlin, Illinois the son of Fred and Allie Harlan.

He married Margaret Hull on January 29, 1957.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially spending time with his grandkids.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 10:00 AM on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens. Funeral services will be held immediately after at 10:00 AM.

Rev. Ken Gennicks will be officiating.

Burial will be held at Rock Creek cemetery near Tallula.
