William G. Davison, age 90, of Greenview, died at Villa Healthcare East, Sherman, IL on Monday April 23, 2007.

Sister : Vernena Watkins of Petersburg One Niece & One Nephew

Mr. Davison was born February 20, 1917, near Greenview, the son of James F. and Della Smart Davison.

Mr. Davison married Wilma Montgomery in 1940 in Boling Green, MO.

After working for Caterpillar for six years, he went into business for himself. He owned and operated a bulldozing service for 35 years.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge #653 AF & AM for 63 years, was past president of Greenview Rotary Club, served as Mayor of Greenview, and was a member of Greenview United Church, serving as an elder, deacon and trustee.

He was very devoted to his family and faith.

Visitation will be at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Greenview United Church in Greenview with Rev. Charolette Poetschner officiating.

Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview.
