I met Phil many years ago on the cb radio, he was “Lord Calvert” he extended his hand in friendship and we became friends. After the great Ice Storm had fallen in 1978 I was without power and Phil walked many miles to my home and delivered me candles one was a rainbow. Our friendship was sealed. We decided that we would be roomates. We had deep conversations, we shared our feelings about our fathers dying. He took me to Saputos for a fine dining experience. He took his first bite of shrimp cocktail and his face turned rapturous, he said you must try this, and I did. He was with me when I cut my 1st audition tape to fulfill my dream of being a radio announcer. He was a nurturer and a gentleman. His favorite TV show was Praise The Lord! One of his last acts of kindness to me was just prior to my moving to Texas he sublet my apartment and bought all of my furniture. I will never forget him.
