Cline, Wm. Kenneth

Wm. Kenneth Cline, age 87, of rural Athens, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Oma; one daughter, Sherry Cline (fiancé Joe Richmond) of Athens; one son, Kenny Lee Cline of Athens; two grandsons, Kevin (wife Abby) of Springfield and Kyle Cline of Athens. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Henry on July 25, 1966 and Marguerite on March 25, 1950. He was born April 8, 1925 in Springfield. Kenneth married Oma Mary Standridge on August 30, 1953. He farmed in the Athens area all his life. Kenneth is a member of the Cantrall United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens.

Rev. Jarrett Wells will be officiating. Burial will be held at Indian Point Cemetery near Athens. Memorials can be made to the Cantrall United Methodist Church, Parkinson’s Foundation, or Amercian Cancer Society.
