Cline-Floyd, Stella

Stella Cline-Floyd, age 93, passed away April 28, 2008 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home, Petersburg, IL.

She was born July 7, 1914, at Spaulding, the daughter of Mike and Clara Saffer and married Lawrence Cline on July 6, 1935. Together they farmed in the Athens area many years and he passed away in 1993. She was a member of Indian Point Presbyterian Church.

Survived by three daughters :Jo (Kenneth) Babcock of Athens Judy ( Ronald) Meeker of Springfield

Barbara (James) Hurt of Petersburg

There are six surviving grandchildren, one deceased, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

She married Orval Floyd in 2001 and he survives.

Private family graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Indian Point Cemetery, Athens with William Swaar, CLP, officiating.
