I am so very sorry. Kay was a friend and classmate. I am so happy she came to our class reunion in September, where w had a wonderful visit. She was a warm, friendly, helpful person. The world is a better place because of people like Kay. She will be greatly missed.
(Kay grew up living beside my grandparents, Eva and Luther Smith for several years.)
I wanted to come to the funeral but was unable to come down from Peoria that day.

Dear Jim and family,
I was so sorry and sad to hear about Kay. I did not find out about it until after the funeral. She and I grew up riding bikes everywhere, riding the bus every school day, going to church , and sharing rides to school when we finally got our licenses! So many good memories to cherish! I’m so thankful we got to reconnect at our last class reunion.
Our hearts and prayers go out to you.
