Dwain Campbell, age 66, of Kilbourne, passed away on Thursday April 10, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; several children and grandchildren; and siblings.
Dwain is preceded in death by a sister, Betty; step-sons, Steve and Greg McLean.
He was born on March 16, 1948 in Centralia, IL the son of Alfred and Opal Williams Campbell.
Dwain married Ruth (Bricker) McLean on May 5, 1988.
He was a member of the VFW Post #10302 in Springfield.
Dwain was a retired construction worker. He loved collecting eagles, camping and fishing.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens. A luncheon will follow.
Memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
Family is being served by Mott & Henning Funeral Home, in Athens, IL.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Donnie & I knew Dwain since he was a teenager. He was always kind and ready and willing to help anyone who needed it. He and Ruth were good together and so very humble. The family is in my prayers as Dwain makes his way to his heavenly home.

Charlene, I am so sorry to find out about your mom. Just found out a few minutes ago. She was still a very bufutiael lady.
